What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at CT Eye Physicians?
Connecticut Eye Physicians, with locations in Middletown and Essex, provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. We are seeking a full time medical receptionist (32-36 hours) with at least 1 year of medical reception experience and who is able to commute to both locations. We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly and has good communication and computer skills.
New hires are expected to:
- manage multiple schedules
- cover for coworker vacation/illness
- answer high volume calls
- schedule appointments
- check patients in and out
- verify patient insurance
- collect co-pays and past due balances
- enter accurate demographic and insurance information
- complete requisitions for lab work
Private 4 physician practice with 2 locations
Salary : $20 - $22
