We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Custodian to support our teams in both Dover and Georgetown locations. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities remain clean, orderly, and safe for staff and customers alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial and building maintenance duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash throughout the dispensary.
- Clean and restock restrooms and maintain supplies.
- Maintain outside walkways and entryways for safety and cleanliness.
- Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs, assembling furniture, small fixes).
- Install basic fixtures such as wall signs, decorations, etc.
- Track supply levels and submit written requests to the Dispensary Manager.
- Report and communicate maintenance concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Prior custodial, janitorial, or building maintenance experience preferred (dispensary or retail setting a plus).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to sit, bend, stand, climb, and lift up to 75 lbs consistently (heavier lifting may occasionally be required).
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between Dover and Georgetown dispensaries and have a valid driver's license.
Position Details
- Job Type: Part-Time (10–15 hours per week)
- Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
- Schedule: Flexible shifts, may include evenings or weekends based on business needs
- Reports To: Dispensary Manager
- Union Benefits: This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with UFCW, which includes medical, dental, prescription, and other benefits.
