Position Overview:
As a On Call Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by responding to last-minute coverage needs and providing support across various client locations. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to call-offs and fill in for shifts at different locations, often with short notice.
- Patrol assigned premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or irregularities.
- Monitor surveillance systems and report any unusual activity.
- Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter misconduct.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies and security incidents.
- Provide customer service and support to clients, employees, and visitors.
- Enforce site policies and safety regulations.
- Complete accurate and timely incident reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior security experience is preferred, particularly in a flexible or on-call capacity.
- Valid guard card and any required state licensing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm and act decisively under pressure.
- Familiarity with basic security equipment and technology.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred
