The Toolkit (Requirements)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Certification: Must possess an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or have the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hiring.
- Core Traits: A strong desire to learn, a positive "can-do" attitude, and a natural ability to work within a supportive team.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license is required for field visits.

- Prior internship or coursework involving bridge and ancillary structure inspections.
- Completion of NHI130055 – Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges.
