Establish and track Quality department goals and objective- sDetermine Quality department standards, practices, and procedure
- sEstablish and maintain product Quality Standard
- sTrack external customer Quality issues, e.g. concerns, rejections, PPM, and 8D problem solvin
- gTrack internal customer Quality issues, e.g. Rejection Tags and Process Alert
- sTrack supplier Quality issues and performanc
- eSupport plant safety procedures and safety policie
- sDirect lab personnel regarding performance and material testin
- gAllocate Quality resources to project teams, programs, and manufacturing process improvement team
- sAssist in daily review of production quality performanc
- eAssist Production and Maintenance to achieve effective and efficient production of quality part
- sSchedule and chair regular Quality Review meetings to Appraise Management of Quality Dept. issues to ensure suitability and effectiveness of Quality Syste
- mWork with Engineering to develop project launch strategy, capital needs, program timing in support of all APQP, PPAP, MSA and ISO9001/IATF16949 requirement
- sWork with Quality Engineers and Technicians to document trends in quality, compare against customer standards and plant goal
- sSupport advance Quality activities, elements and schedule
- sRepresents Carey plant at the customer in the area of Qualit
- yDevelop short- and long-term strategy to support customer requirements, as require
- dManage safety as an equal to other key function
- sMonitor departmental action items to ensure timely and effective correction of issue
- sHold supervision and employees accountable for safety activitie
- sSupport safety training and ensure personnel are in attendanc
