Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating, documenting, developing, and implementing procedures used to process, assemble, test and/or manufacture of Teijin’s products.
Define production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications.
Create documentation for production support and data collection.
Part of team that approves new product designs for production.
Assesses and approves new product tooling for production.
Reviews and authorizes new product processes for production.
Initiates and maintains “open items” tracking system for new products.
Attends all tooling tryouts at the tooling vendors.
Coordinates all tooling tryouts at the manufacturing facility.
Participates in obtaining PSW approvals on new products.
Continuously improve processes utilizing synchronous and lean manufacturing techniques to improve labor efficiencies and quality.
Must have proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD)
Must have very strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Must have very strong communication skills (verbal & written)

Requirements:
A Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related discipline.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive).
