What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Planner position at CSP?
Essential Job Functions:
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work using the CMMS.
- Develop detailed job plans including labor, parts, tools, and safety requirements.
- Maintain an organized backlog of planned maintenance work (2–4 weeks).
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with Production to minimize downtime.
- Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are current, effective, and properly documented.
- Verify parts availability and coordinate with the storeroom and purchasing.
- Maintain accurate equipment records, asset structures, and maintenance data in CMMS.
- Track and support maintenance performance metrics including PM compliance and schedule adherence.
- Support reliability improvements by identifying maintenance gaps and failure trends.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards including LOTO and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred experience using a CMMS (SAP, Maximo, eMaint, or similar)
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel
- Experience in automotive or Tier 1 manufacturing
- Previous maintenance planning or maintenance lead experience
- Associate degree or technical training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical field
- Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance
- Experience supporting reliability or continuous improvement initiatives
