About the Role
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization, with increasing responsibility, leadership development, and involvement in strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports
• Overseeing general ledger activities and ensuring GAAP compliance
• Supporting board reporting and presentations
• Leading audit preparation and serving as liaison to external auditors
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Strengthening internal controls and improving financial processes
• Mentoring team members and taking on growing leadership responsibilities
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Healthcare or senior living experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Advanced Excel and experience with accounting systems (Sage Intacct, PointClickCare, and OneSite a plus)
