Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and track progress against milestones.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
- Monitor project budgets, review cost reports, and approve invoices and change orders.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Lead project meetings with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with superintendents and field teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, financials, and timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience managing construction projects, with a emphasis on commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and scheduling practices.
- Experience with project management and construction software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
