We’re looking for a Travel Team Manager who will lead operational processes for the travel team, ensuring project deliverables meet accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and budget requirements. In this role, you will drive process enhancements and act as a change agent to improve team performance. You will also be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all travel-related activities for the company and its employees, including optimizing travel operations, managing resources effectively, adhering to travel policies, managing budgets, and ensuring efficient travel arrangements while maintaining high standards of service.

What You'll Do:
- Lead day to day travel operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and cost effective travel arrangements that meet project timelines and budget requirements.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high performing travel team, including hiring, performance feedback, mentoring, and corrective action as needed.
- Oversee complex travel planning and policy interpretation, stepping in to resolve escalated issues and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to streamline travel processes, support project needs, and improve cross team communication.
- Research, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships, including airlines, hotels, and transportation providers, to secure optimal pricing and availability.
- Coordinate and book end to end travel arrangements for consultants, including itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and emergency support.
- Track travel budgets and expenses, reconcile invoices and statements, report variances, and obtain approvals for exceptions when required.
- Champion technology, process improvements, and change initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.
- Stay informed on industry trends, travel regulations, and emerging tools while supporting inclusion initiatives and participating in on call coverage as needed.
Your Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred
- 3 years of experience in travel coordination and management
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams while independently applying expertise to guide, train, and support others.
- Strong communication, relationship building, and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and navigate differing perspectives.
- Deep knowledge of the business travel industry, including negotiations, vendor management, reimbursements, budgets, and financial impacts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets efficiently in fast paced, deadline driven environments.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to synthesize large volumes of data.
- Calm, adaptable, and decisive under pressure, with strong time management skills, sound judgment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
