Pay: $45 - $50/hr W2
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to support infrastructure initiatives within a large healthcare system. This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clinical/operational stakeholders to ensure timely execution of infrastructure projects including network upgrades, hardware deployments, system migrations, and data center initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are tracked and met
- Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing infrastructure-related initiatives
- Act as a liaison between technical teams (network, server, cloud) and hospital stakeholders
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, and action items; provide regular status updates
- Assist with resource coordination, including vendors, internal teams, and third-party partners
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, and reports
- Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards, security protocols, and organizational policies
- Coordinate change management activities, including maintenance windows and communication plans
- Support procurement and inventory tracking for infrastructure hardware and software
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of experience supporting IT projects, preferably in infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components (networks, servers, storage, cloud platforms)
- Experience with project coordination tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare system
- Knowledge of healthcare IT environments (e.g., EMR systems, HIPAA compliance)
- Exposure to vendors such as Cisco, VMware, Azure, or AWS
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification (or in progress)
