Power BI Developer

CSCI Consulting is looking for a Power BI Developer to support our Federal client. In this role, the consultant will deliver a modern Business Intelligence (BI) capability for our Federal client by assessing existing data sources, establishing a common and sustainable data structure, and leveraging governmentowned platforms to improve enterprise visibility. The effort focuses on integrating currently stovepiped and largely unstructured data into rolebased dashboards that provide realtime insight into the status of personnel, facilities, security, horticulture, and equipment across the client's globally dispersed sites. Through stakeholder engagement, dashboard development, and training, the contractor will enable our client staff to independently maintain and evolve the BI solution to support informed decisionmaking and resource allocation. The Power BI Developer / Dashboard Engineer is responsible for building and refining interactive dashboards that provide enterprise-level visibility into ABMC resources and operations.

• Develop site-level and functional dashboards using Power BI
• Integrate data from multiple Agency data sources
• Implement drill-down and interactive dashboard features
• Support usability testing and dashboard refinement
• Work closely with stakeholders to incorporate feedback
• Assist with UAT defect resolution and final dashboard delivery

• Power BI development and visualization
• Data transformation and modeling for analytics
• DAX and Power Query experience
• Strong attention to usability and visual clarity
• Federal data/BI environment experience
• Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
• Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional presence

• 5 years of experience developing BI dashboards
• Demonstrated experience with Power BI
• Experience working with complex or imperfect data sources preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
• Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
• Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
• Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
• Past experience working with a Federal agency
• Federal experience is a plus!
