CSC Paymaster is expanding our Business Growth team and we’re looking for a driven, self-motivated individual ready to take their sales career to the next level. As a leading privately owned payroll and human capital management (HCM) provider in Warwick, RI, CSC Paymaster combines award-winning software solutions with exceptional local service. We help small, mid-sized, and growing businesses manage payroll, time & labor, and HR while providing our team members with excellent compensation, a comprehensive benefit package, and an opportunity for growth. This is a salaried role with base pay plus commission and the starting compensation range is $60,000–$100,000 annually, with total earning potential of up to $150,000.
About the Role
You’ll be the face of our business in the field, we are located in RI but we are also looking to grow our team in MA and CT. The ideal candidate will take the initiative to generate and engage with small, mid-sized, and growing businesses to build meaningful new relationships and drive growth. You must be focused, strategic, and confident in your ability to execute sales plans. This is a hunter role, perfect for someone with a growth mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, outbound-focused environment, enjoys overcoming challenges, and is excited by the opportunity to earn uncapped compensation year after year.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities through outbound calls, networking, and referrals
- Develop referral relationships with CPAs, brokers, bankers, and financial pros
- Consult with business owners, C-level executives, and HR professionals to assess needs and offer tailored solutions
- Participate in weekly team meetings and ongoing sales training
- Develop a deep understanding of our product messaging, technology platform, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape
- Log and track all sales activity in our CRM (Zoho)
- Represent CSC Paymaster at local events and networking groups (sometimes outside of regular work hours)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients
- Maintain accountability through transparent reporting and adherence to behaviors aligned with company values
- Meet or exceed all sales targets and performance metrics

About You
- B2B sales experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prospects, follow-ups, and sales tasks efficiently
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, while remaining organized, strategic, and persistent even on tough days
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within Rhode Island and surrounding areas
- Experience with HCM or SaaS products a plus
- Previous CRM experience (Zoho or other similar platforms) a plus
