Job Description
Tasks / Responsibilities
- Translate organizational strategy into program objectives and outcomes.
- Work with leadership to define program scope, success criteria, and benefits.
- Develop the program roadmaps
- Coordinate dependencies across multiple projects.
- Provide guidance to project managers to ensure consistency in approach and delivery.
- Resolve conflicts between projects over resources, scope, or timelines.
- Provide regular program-level status updates, dashboards, and reports.
- Develop and manage the program budgets plans and forecasts
- Identify and manage program-level risks and issues.
- Coordinate risk mitigation actions across projects.
- Mentor and coach project managers and other team members.
- Foster collaboration across project teams.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience / Qualifications
- 5-8 years in project/program management (depending on complexity of programs managed). Proven experience delivering multiple related projects that drive outcomes.
- Experience working with government agencies and leading public sector initiatives.
- Experience aligning projects to business strategy, managing benefits realization, and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Track record of managing resources and priorities across multiple teams, departments, and sometimes geographic locations.
- Familiarity with PMO processes
- Experience with Agile and Hybrid delivery approaches
- Experience creating and managing large budgets, forecasting, and tracking ROI or benefits.
- Exposure to organizational change management driving adoption and ensuring business readiness.
