Responsibilities
- Facilitating the clearance of imported goods through customs.
- Negotiating with government agencies on behalf of clients.
- Familiar with local CBP inspection procedure to resolve exam hold exception, especially the whole AWB hold.
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure a smooth customs process.
- Communicating with carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of goods.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in related field
- Customs Broker License is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of local CBP practice
- Extensive experience in international trade and customs processes
- Proficiency in customs brokerage software and technology
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
