Responsibilities
- Generating new business opportunities.
- Quoting/negotiating rates with clients and carriers.
- Maintaining consistent contact/follow-up with clients to determine shipping needs and secure business.
- Meet or exceed sales goals.
- Provide excellent follow up and service to customers and carrier allies.
- Combination of inside/office sales and on-the-road.
- Setting up meetings with decision-makers to secure business.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Strong desire to succeed in a sales/account management role.
- Strong multitasking abilities are required.
- Ability to handle a stressful fast-paced environment.
- Great negotiation skills are required.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills are required.
