Seeking hands-on distribution leader needed to run a standalone DC with full ownership of operations, safety, P&L, and team performance in a dynamic environment.
- Lead all distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and transportation, in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Own day-to-day building performance with full accountability for safety, service, labor, shrink, and operational results.
- Manage P&L performance across labor, transportation, and inventory accuracy while using data to improve key metrics such as UPH, order cycle time, and OTIF.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and HAZMAT requirements, including safe handling and storage of batteries such as flooded, AGM, and lithium-ion.
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, and other process optimization initiatives to improve throughput, efficiency, and cost control.
- Build, train, and develop teams through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and ongoing safety certification, while fostering accountability and emotional intelligence.
- Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain to improve inventory flow, resolve service issues, and support customer needs.
- Identify operational gaps, strengthen processes, and bring a big-picture mindset to a less structured distribution environment.
- Lead the facility independently with the confidence to make decisions, solve problems, and execute without needing a highly scripted or retail-driven operating model.
Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
