Responsibilities
- Managing the procurement and renewal of insurance coverage, including leading insurance RFPs and conducting market research.
- Assess the organization’s insurance needs and identify appropriate coverage options while minimizing costs.
- Liaising with Insurance Brokers and relevant members of the business and operational teams on insurance matters.
- Handle and process insurance claims.
- Maintain records of all insurance policies and claims.
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of insurance policies and contractual and legal insurance requirements.
- Manage certificates of insurance, including COIs provided by vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law or another related field is preferred.
- Relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the ground transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and insurance practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- May be remote within North America. Occasional travel may be required.
