Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Communicate with customers through various channels and media. Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner while always adhering to the Company’s Core Values.
- Know the company’s products and services inside and out, so that you can answer questions and sell solutions.
- Process BOLs, orders, forms, applications, requests, and other recurring materials.
- Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary.
- Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
- Manage and/or train a team of junior customer service representatives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Engage in additional projects or tasks as assigned.
- College Degree is preferred. High School Diploma is required.
- 3-5 years of customer service experience is required.
- Experience working in the transportation industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must possess excellent and accurate organizational skills to ensure all work is completed in a timely fashion.
- Outstanding communication skills to clearly articulate at all levels are critical.
