Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Estimator located in Tampa, FL. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with project managers and clients. Daily tasks include reviewing project plans and specifications, gathering and analyzing data to assess the necessary materials, labor, and time required, and using estimating software to produce accurate bids. The Senior Estimator will also be involved in developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Experience in cost estimation, project planning, and bid management skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with project managers and clients
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and industry standards
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in site development
