We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and optimize CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision metal components that meet exacting quality standards.
Summary
Job Summary:
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes, machining centers, and manual equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to ensure accurate production
Edit and adjust CNC programs as needed to maintain tight tolerances (within thousandths of an inch)
Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Monitor production runs and make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate across teams to ensure production schedules and customer demands are met
Complete additional duties as assigned
Essential Functions / Competency
Keys for Success
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in machining preferred
Proven experience operating CNC machines (lathes, mills, or machining centers)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T (preferred)
Experience with CNC program editing and offsets strongly preferred
Proficiency using precision measuring instruments
Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Physical Demands
Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete surfaces
Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs; up to 100 lbs with assistive equipment
Frequent bending, lifting, and material handling
Ability to meet production pace and quality expectations
Reliable attendance required; overtime may be needed based on business demands

Additional Job Information
- Wage Expectations: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
- Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
- Typical Schedule: Four (4) Ten (10) hour days M-F, Overtime may be available on your 5th day of the week and/or Saturdays
- Location: On Site – 52182 Ember Road, Lake Crystal MN 56055
- Travel: Very minimal to none
