Veterinary Practice Manager

Crystal Springs Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced and people-focused Practice Manager to lead hospital operations and support a high-performing veterinary team. What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Medical Director to lead hospital operations, ensuring high-quality care, exceptional client experience, and strong financial performance
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15 team members, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development
- Champion an “unmatched” client experience through team training, client communication, and resolution of concerns
- Oversee scheduling for DVMs and staff to ensure appropriate coverage, efficiency, and proactive PTO/CE planning
- Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve workflow, productivity, and team effectiveness
- Collaborate with leadership to drive hospital performance, including revenue growth, labor management, and KPI tracking
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and ongoing performance review using hospital reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, employment practices, and operational standards
- Maintain strong communication across hospital leadership, team members, and support partners
- Oversee inventory, cost of goods, and purchasing processes in partnership with operations support teams
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of experience managing operations in a veterinary hospital (or similar healthcare setting)
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and culture-building
- Experience with HR systems (HRIS, ATS) and performance management
- Solid understanding of financials, including budgeting, reporting, and KPIs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences
- Highly organized with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with computers and practice management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- RVT, CVPM, SHRM-CP, MBA, or similar credentials
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 annually (based on experience) bonus opportunity
