Compensation: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
About Us
Crystal Lakes Road and Recreation Association (CLRRA) is a homeowner association located in the scenic mountain community of Crystal Lakes near Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and work closely with our Manager, Treasurer, and accounting professionals.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for processing accounts payable, maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting the Association's day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Arrangement
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement. Initial onboarding and training will be completed on-site at our office in Crystal Lakes. Once training is complete and the employee is comfortable with our processes, much of the work may be performed remotely, with occasional on-site meetings or document handling as needed.
Responsibilities
Process invoices, statements, reimbursement requests, and other accounts payable documents.
Verify required approvals and ensure accurate account coding before payment processing.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and online payment systems.
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
Communicate professionally with vendors and internal staff regarding invoices and payments.
Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
Monitor expenditures and notify management of potential budget overages.
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
Perform other related bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a related accounting role preferred.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with accounting software or financial management systems preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional accounting or bookkeeping education is preferred.
Valid driver's license and successful background check required.
