About the Role
As an RN or LPN, you will play a key role in providing exceptional clinical care while supporting a respectful and safe care environment. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive personalized care that promotes comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and clinical procedures within scope of practice
- Monitor resident conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments, reporting and responding to changes as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and carry out individualized care plans
- Accurately and timely document assessments, interventions, and resident outcomes
- Educate residents and families on health conditions, care plans, and preventative measures
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards, safety protocols, and sterile procedures
- Perform specimen collection and follow proper processing guidelines
- Promote a calm, safe, and dignified environment for residents and team members
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Iowa
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, infection control, and resident safety
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and detail‑oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast‑paced healthcare setting
