What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with commercial customers, general contractors, and project stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new commercial HVAC project opportunities
- Review project plans, specifications, and scope documents to determine requirements
- Prepare accurate and competitive project bids, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Design and present HVAC solutions that align with customer needs and project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoff and execution
- Track pipeline activity, proposals, and sales performance metrics
- Maintain detailed and accurate bid and customer documentation
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity throughout the sales process
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial HVAC sales, estimating, or system design experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and the project lifecycle
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience preparing detailed project bids and proposals
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning new software platforms
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Ability to work from the office daily and travel locally to customers and job sites
- Experience working with subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors
- Knowledge of commercial construction processes and building codes
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
