- Prospect for new commercial HVAC maintenance customers
- Visit businesses and develop relationships with local decision-makers
- Identify facilities that would benefit from preventive HVAC maintenance
- Present commercial maintenance programs and service solutions
- Develop proposals and follow up with prospective customers
- Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, and business owners
- Network throughout the local commercial market
- Generate referrals and additional commercial opportunities
- Identify potential HVAC replacement opportunities during the sales process
- Maintain an active pipeline and track sales activity
- Continue developing customer relationships after the initial sale
- Commercial HVAC sales, business development, outside sales, or related experience
- Strong prospecting and relationship-building ability
- Confidence approaching and developing new commercial customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own sales pipeline
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Ability to work in-office and travel throughout the local market
