Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze current-state business processes and identify areas for improvement, automation, or optimization.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to document business needs, workflows, and performance gaps.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and documentation for use by internal teams or vendors.
- Collaborate with teammates throughout the organization to ensure the successful delivery of projects, including testing, rollout, and post-go-live support.
- Support the selection, implementation, and enhancement of a variety of business systems, including but not limited to Crystal Flash’s ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
- Contribute to the ownership of application lifecycle activities, including upgrades, configuration changes, and end-user support.
- Provide ongoing stakeholder engagement and communication across business and IT teams
- Monitor system usage, performance, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help design and deliver end-user training, documentation, and adoption plans to promote system usability and business ownership.
Qualification Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proven ability to influence change, lead projects, and work collaboratively with cross-functional and field-based teams.
- Familiarity with fuel, propane, logistics, or manufacturing environments is a strong plus.
- Experience identifying and implementing operational technologies (e.g., dispatching, ERP, telematics, automation, or reporting platforms) preferred.
General Requirements, Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 2-5 years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a related technology/business process role.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical topics for business users.
- Willingness and ability to work outside of normal business hours to accomplish tasks and achieve business continuity.
- Solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Highly self-motivated and driven, with a resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Strong customer service orientation.
