Position Summary
Crystal Downs Country Club is seeking seasonal Caddies to support the golf operation and provide an exceptional experience for members and their guests. This position is ideal for high school students or individuals entering the workforce for the first time. No prior golf knowledge is required; a willingness to learn, follow instructions, and provide excellent service is essential.
The golf season runs from May through October, with the greatest staffing needs June through August.
Scheduling & Availability
Caddie opportunities are based on member demand and are not a set weekly schedule.
- Members request caddies through the Golf Shop
- Golf staff enter loop requests into the online scheduling system
- Caddies sign up for available loops
- Assistant Golf Professionals assign all loops
- There is nominimumshift requirement; opportunities may range from multiple loops per week to a few per month

Primary Responsibilities
All Caddies
- Carry golf bags for 18 holes
- Walk approximately 7 miles per round, including hills and uneven terrain
- Maintain the pace of play with the group
- Clean clubs throughout the round
- Rake bunkers and repair divots
- Follow player and staff instructions
- Provide courteous and professional service to members and guests
- Learn basic golf knowledge and on-course procedures
Experienced Caddies (as assigned)
- Carry two bags
- Serve as a Forecaddie
- Provide yardages, green reading, and basic course strategy
- Anticipate player needs andassistthe group efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum age:12 years old
- Ability to carry a golf bag for 18 holes
- Ability to work outdoors invaryingweather conditions
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Dependable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and accept coaching
- Ability to interact politely and professionally with members, guests, and staff
Golf experience is not required.
Physical Requirements
