Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance golf carts, including checking batteries, motors, brakes, tires, and electrical systems.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions, performing repairs or replacements as needed to restore cart functionality.
- Maintain detailed service records, documenting repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed for each vehicle.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance procedures to protect yourself and others on site.
- Assist with the installation of new components or upgrades to improve cart performance or extend lifespan.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely availability of carts for daily operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with golf cart diagnosis and repairs
- Strong understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides clearly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and repairs.
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts, stand for extended periods, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must have your own tools that will also integrate with some of the core infrastructure provided at the shop
- Engineering flexibility to learn and adapt to the installation of golf cart accessories such as enclosures, hitches, lighting, etc.
- Must have a FL Drivers License and good driving record
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
