Position Overview
As a Nail Technician at Crush, you will provide high-quality nail care services to a diverse clientele in a professional and sanitary environment. You will be responsible for building relationships with clients, staying current on nail trends and techniques, and representing the Crush brand with pride and professionalism.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform manicures and pedicures including gel, acrylic, dip powder, and natural nail services
- Design and apply nail art, embellishments, and specialty finishes per client requests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times in accordance with state health regulations
- Consult with clients to understand their nail care goals and recommend appropriate services
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service
- Stay up-to-date on the latest nail trends, techniques, and product knowledge
- Follow all infection control procedures and safety protocols
- Manage appointment scheduling, client records, and retail product recommendations
- Represent Crush in a professional and positive manner at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid state Nail Technician license (required)
- Experience in manicures, pedicures, gel, acrylics, dip powder, and nail art
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain a steady client flow
- Passion for the beauty industry and keeping up with nail trends
- Prior salon experience preferred but not required — we welcome new talent!
Compensation & Schedule
Pay Structure
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Compensation is commission-based, meaning your income grows directly with your performance and client base. The more you build, the more you earn — the sky is the limit.
Schedule Options
- Full-Time: Consistent schedule with dedicated station availability
- Part-Time: Flexible hours built around your availability
- Evening and weekend availability is a plus but not required
