Position Overview
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist who will play a critical role in executing purchases and managing procurement activities related to new gym construction and capital projects. This individual will partner closely with the Construction, Capital Projects, and New Club Opening teams to ensure that materials, equipment, and services are sourced cost-effectively, delivered on time, and meet all quality standards.

- Procurement for construction and new club openings runs end‑to‑end smoothly, with no delays or bottlenecks impacting project timelines.
- Internal stakeholders receive timely updates, clear expectations, and responsive support throughout every stage of the procurement process.
- All purchases are made at negotiated or benchmarked rates, with any cost variances clearly tracked, explained, and proactively mitigated.
- New club openings consistently launch on time and within budget through tight coordination of purchasing schedules, vendor deliveries, and site readiness.
- Builds strong relationships with key vendors, contractors, and logistics partners to streamline procurement workflows and resolve issues quickly during the pre-opening phase.

Responsibilities
Procurement Execution
- Purchase construction-related goods and services, including materials, equipment, and specialty contractor services.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and negotiated vendor agreements.
- Track and compare vendor quotes against historical pricing and negotiated rates to monitor cost fluctuations and identify savings opportunities.
- Coordinate procurement activities with internal project managers to align purchases with construction timelines and budgets.
- Ensure goods and services are ordered at the appropriate time to meet build schedules and minimize project delays.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to confirm specifications, quantities, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with key vendor partners to support long-term cost stability and service quality.
- Monitor vendor performance and assist in evaluating supplier scorecards and rate benchmarking.
- Review and support the administration of purchase contracts in coordination with the Procurement Director and Finance.
- Partner with Construction, Capital Projects, and New Club Opening teams to ensure the right products and services are delivered on time, to the right location, and in the right condition.
- Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding purchase status, delivery updates, and potential issues.
- Support Finance/Procurement in preparing spend reports, forecasting needs, and reconciling procurement activity to budget.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, reduce costs, and strengthen vendor relationships.
- Support the implementation of procurement systems, tools, and automation to streamline purchasing workflows.
- Participate in periodic policy and process reviews to ensure alignment with company growth and operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing or procurement for construction, capital projects, or facilities management.
- Strong understanding of construction purchasing workflows and vendor management principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and track pricing to ensure value capture and cost control.
- Proficiency with procurement systems, Excel, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
- Experience with multi-location or franchise-based organizations.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and vendor compliance processes.
