Kids Club Sitter

Position Summary:
The Kids Club Attendant provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents or guardians enjoy the amenities of Crunch Fitness. This role requires a warm personality, alert supervision, active play, and a commitment to upholding our Legendary Standards of service.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Child Supervision & Engagement

• Actively monitor and engage with children at all times
• Organize and facilitate age-appropriate games, crafts, and group activities
• Maintain a safe environment—immediately address any hazards or behavioral issues
• Ensure proper check-in/check-out procedures for every child
• Maintain accurate sign-in logs and emergency contact records

2. Cleanliness & Safety

• Sanitize toys, surfaces, and high-touch areas between each shift and session
• Regularly inspect and maintain play equipment for safety and cleanliness
• Follow Kids Club cleaning checklist and log completion after each shift
• Ensure children wash hands upon entry and before snacks (if permitted)

3. Parent Communication

• Greet parents with warmth and professionalism
• Notify parents promptly if child becomes ill, upset, or has a behavioral issue
• Answer questions regarding policies, procedures, or club amenities
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all conversations

4. Policy & Procedure Compliance

• Adhere to all Crunch Kids Club rules and safety guidelines
• Follow club policy for child-to-attendant ratios
• Ensure no child is left unattended or released to an unauthorized adult
• Comply with emergency evacuation procedures and drills

5. Legendary Service Culture

• Create a welcoming, high-energy environment for both kids and parents

• Participate in seasonal events or club parties for children when requested
• Report any incidents or concerns to AGM/GM immediately

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prior childcare, camp counselor, or daycare experience preferred
• Must have required background check & credentials
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
• Friendly, patient, and proactive with strong communication skills
• Able to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods

Working Conditions:

• Part-time or full time shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Must adhere to uniform standards and Crunch employee policies
• May be asked to help with club-wide family events or open houses
