As a Group Fitness Manager, you’ll oversee the performance and growth of our group fitness program across multiple locations. You will drive class engagement, manage scheduling, recruit and develop top instructors, and ensure every class represents the high-energy Crunch brand. This role combines leadership, accountability, and hands-on instruction to deliver an exceptional member experience while meeting key business metrics in retention, recruiting, and participation growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive class performance by increasing participation and executing quarterly schedule updates in alignment with VP of Group Fitness expectations
- Conduct regular club visits to support operations, ensure proper class sign-up/sign-in procedures, and maintain studio standards
- Oversee instructor lifecycle including recruiting, auditioning, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing performance management
- Ensure all classes are staffed with qualified, corporately trained instructors and represented professionally at all times
- Manage communication and scheduling through Netgym, including sub requests and instructor updates
- Lead instructor development through certification workshops, regional trainings, quarterly meetings, and annual evaluations
- Maintain accurate reporting and submit weekly/monthly updates, including class count reconciliation and performance tracking
- Support operational excellence by maintaining studio equipment, managing budgets, and partnering with club leadership (GM, PTM, Area/District leaders) as One Team
- Outgoing, team-oriented leader with a passion for fitness and personal growth.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Experience teaching diverse class types and levels.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred).
