Heavy Diesel Mechanic

We're looking for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic who's ready to take the wheel on weekends and help keep our fleet in peak condition.
Schedule
- Alternating weekends with flexible weekday hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and heavy equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic software and tools
- Repair or replace worn parts, overhaul engines, and inspect key systems
- Use micrometers, gauges, and precision tools to inspect components
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with supervisors
- Follow OSHA safety standards and internal safety protocols
- Work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts
You're Going to Need This
- Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains
- Ability to lift heavy parts and perform physically demanding tasks
- Weekend availability and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred but Not Required:
- Familiarity with PACCAR and Cummins engines
- Experience with Diesel Explorer and DAVIE4 diagnostic software (or willingness to learn)
