Crum Electric Supply is seeking experienced, hardworking candidates for an IT Specialist in our Casper, WY headquarters. An IT Specialist works under our IT Director for an electrical wholesale company who oversees technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless ERP operation, network security, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Responsible for back-end developing, engineering, managing server-side logic, database integrations, and application programing interfaces (APIs) to ensure data is processed, stored, and retrieved correctly. However, this individual will also flex their database skills, maintaining and updating product data in conjunction with our ERP system. This includes enriched data for our ecommerce site.
Separately, this individual will also help our IT Director keep our IT systems up and running. Aid with a wide variety of employee computer issues and upgrade needs. They will also help educate employees on new systems and processes. Microsoft Office 365 and email, VOIP phone system, Infor SXe ERP along with others.
What you will be doing:
- Help maintain and monitor servers, networks, and communication systems across multiple branch locations, ensuring high availability (99.9% uptime).
- Aid in database synchronization for pricing and product information
- Provide computer support to employees across branch locations, i.e., networking, software, email, maintenance and updates
- Serve as an IT liaison between operations, vendors, and end users for the support and integration of varied systems.
- Windows 10 and server maintenance
· Project Work: Coordinate timetables and resources with management and employee end users in order to complete projects on time.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or 5 years of progressive experience in IT operations)
- Ability to resolve a wide range of issues with the versatility to learn on the job
- Effective use of time management
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- SQL knowledge, Microsoft Office / Office 365
· Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize work, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Extremely skilled at seeing and managing details
- Quick with numbers, basic understanding of accounting is a plus
