Title: Tax Staff, Tax Accountant
Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000
We’re looking for an Experienced Tax Staff to join our team and assist with tax consulting, compliance, and return preparation for a variety of entities, including corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and non-profits. This role offers exposure to diverse industries and opportunities to work closely with seniors, managers, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Conduct tax research and planning to resolve client issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Respond to tax authority notices and assist during audits.
- Maintain direct client contact and provide practical solutions.
- Complete projects on time and communicate status to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 1–2 years of public accounting experience.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; QuickBooks and ProSystems a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
