Roofing Estimator

Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates and construction schedules for commercial roofing projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and preparing proposals that support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project requirements, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct take-offs and prepare cost estimates using Edge Estimating software.
• Verify dimensions and perform test cuts when needed.
• Draft detailed proposals and distribute reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Project Managers during handoffs and address estimation issues.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in post-project financial analysis and track performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial roofing estimating or project management.
• Familiarity with roofing systems (single-ply, asphalt, hot/cold applied, metal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Edge Estimating experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
