- This position requires 100% travel to various locations across North America
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed, Please note that Travel Time is unpaid.
- Resource will spend first few weeks on-site in Austin to learn about the environment and processes.
- Once acclimated, resource will rotate to cutover sites across north America
- This is fast paced work – approximately 3-6 cutovers/week and the resource might bounce between ~3 sites per week.
- The Customer needs a resource who can operate independently, travel constantly and do real hands-on, field work. Experienced travel Tech!!
Position Scope:
- Provide M&A integration and support efforts.
- 60% – for the Acquired company Desk-side / end-user support. Resource is the onsite “hands” support and cleanup. Includes:
- Get up to speed on customers current process/environment

- Post-cutover tasks: re-IP printers, update machines, fix what breaks after the cutover

- Light validation: “does it open / can they log in” (not deep testing)
- Day 1 end-user support

- Will need credentials (passwords, local admin, etc.) to actually be effective

- 40% – for the Corporate Team (cutover support) Support customers corporate network cutovers, including physical work like:
- Rack/stack switches

- Onsite cutover execution support alongside the network team and PM
- Possess strong desktop support skills (like changing IPs, managing printers and drivers), and be "teachable" enough to handle physical racking and stacking of networking gear.
- Highly dependable and accountable – consistently meets commitments, follows through without needing close supervision, and communicates early when risks arise/Strong work ethic and ownership mindset – treats the customer’s environment as their own, takes
