The Kind of Work You'll be Doing:

• Provide first response in emergencies, such as fire evacuation, medical emergencies and accidents, taking appropriate actions as necessary; serve as a liaison with emergency personnel.
• Provide security presence during hostile or disruptive employee relations situations, following current procedures; escort unauthorized personnel off the premises, restrain when needed, ensuring that access policies, procedures, rules, regulations and guidelines are enforced.
• Systematically patrol the inside and outside of buildings on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety of property, employees and grounds. Conduct security checks and note any safety concerns and maintenance items. Investigate security incidents that occur on the property.
• Prepare and maintain written security reports.
• Coordinate services to control access and exit to and from the property and facilities for all Cru employees, guests, and visitors.
• Serve in guest relations by greeting visitors, providing customer service, and monitoring access with staff ID badges.
• Analyze security risks and safety hazards, report and correct problems and perform electronic log book documentation and incident reports.
• Coordinate monthly and required inspections, including fire extinguishers and AED units, and submit appropriate reports; occasionally monitor surveillance camera systems.
• Provide security and traffic control for special events at Cru properties and Cru off-site functions.
• Respond to emergency high-stress situations, remaining professional, calm, and in control when needed.
• Cover posts during 24-hour shifts and travel for special security projects across Cru US properties up to 10% of the year.

Experience and Skills:

2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent to: Criminal Justice/Security Management Certificate

2 Years security experience (corporate security preferred). Also required is a proven track record in the private security industry.
