JOB FAMILY SUMMARY: Capacity operations professionals plan, coordinate, and optimize how CRST uses its equipment, drivers, and resources. They align capacity with customer demand to ensure on-time delivery and maximize profitability.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for responding to and/or managing inquiries, complaints and feedback from customer accounts. This may include providing support through various channels such as in person, phone, email or social media. They must be able to communicate effectively, understand the customer’s needs and provide solutions or information promptly. Additionally, they may need to collect and record customer data and maintain accurate records of customer interactions. The role requires problem-solving skills, patience, empathy and the ability to work under pressure. The focus is on building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and providing quality service that meets or exceeds their expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilites
- Grow and manage a current portfolio of accounts
- Through prospecting, actively engage new customers through the internet, phone, social media, referrals and networking that result in obtaining transportation shipments from customers
- Identify, negotiate and close sales opportunities through learning and assessing customer needs then proposing and implementing aligned solutions
- Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
- Ensure customer billing and payment processes efficiently
- Use excellent oral communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers
