Summary

Assists in the planning and coordinating of activities of the designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame by performing the following duties personally or through other project staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews project proposals or plans to determine timeframe and procedures for accomplishing the project
  • Establishes a work plan.
  • Confers with project staff to outline the work plan and to assign duties and responsibilities.
  • Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule.
  • Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
  • Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering related field or equivalent; or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Salary Range: $58,656 - $70,000/annually
