We are seeking an Analyst Technical Writer to support large-scale security and infrastructure initiatives within a complex public-sector transportation environment. This role combines technical documentation, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement to support security programs, system deployments, and executive reporting.
The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to track initiatives, document processes, prepare executive-level materials, and ensure projects remain aligned with timelines, budgets, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Support multiple security-related initiatives by tracking tasks, milestones, risks, and deliverables

Develop and maintain technical documentation, policies, procedures, and program updates

Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership review

Assist with budget tracking, expenditure reporting, and financial documentation

Coordinate with internal teams such as IT, Procurement, Legal, and Operations to support project execution

Facilitate stakeholder communication and follow-ups across agencies and vendors

Conduct research on emerging security technologies and assist with vendor evaluations

Support special programs involving surveillance systems, deployable cameras, drones, and related technologies

Project tracking reports and performance metrics for leadership

Documentation and updates supporting agency-wide security programs

Budget and cost-control reports aligned with approved funding

Research summaries on new technologies and vendor capabilities

Executive-ready presentations and briefing materials

Policy and procedure review support for security systems and operations

1 3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or technical documentation

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field

Working knowledge of project management principles and lifecycle concepts

Basic understanding of physical security systems, including video management systems and security cameras

Familiarity with IT fundamentals such as networking, protocols, encryption, VPNs, and operating systems

General understanding of low-voltage systems and electrical principles related to security deployments

Exposure to system development lifecycle (SDLC) and engineering design processes

Ability to work onsite at multiple locations within the service territory

Eligible for one remote workday per week after 30 days

Flexibility to travel locally as required

Ability to work a flexible schedule (up to 37.5 hours per week)
