Role Description
The Lot Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized lot, supporting the daily flow of equipment for rental, sales, and service. This role involves operating forklifts, pressure washers, and other tools to assist in equipment loading, unloading, and detailing. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors year-round in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient equipment lot.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment for sales and rentals.
- Clean, detail, and prepare heavy equipment, construction machinery, and attachments.
- Perform visual inspections of equipment to ensure readiness and report any issues.
- Operate forklifts, handling carts, and related equipment safely.
- Use pressure washers and cleaning tools in all weather conditions.
- Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Keep lot, runoff pits, and property areas clear of debris and trash.
- Support facility upkeep, including sweeping and grounds maintenance.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license required.
- 1–3 years of related experience in equipment, warehouse, or lot operations (preferred).
- Ability to operate forklifts and similar equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- DOT Medical Card preferred.
- Familiarity with construction or heavy equipment operations a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with basic repairs and maintenance.
Essential Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to one hundred (100) pounds. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
