Commercial Construction Project Manager

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver high-quality construction projects in both the private sector and at the State, Local, and Federal levels.
As a key member of our team, you’ll manage all phases of construction — from pre-construction estimating and budgeting through project closeout — ensuring that every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects from planning through completion.
- Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and bids.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and communication throughout each project.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts; manage change orders and pay applications.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards, project specifications, and safety codes.
- Conduct OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and provide progress updates.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent, and subcontractors to develop, monitor, and update project schedules.
- Manage project documentation, permits, and inspections.
- Promote and enforce job site safety to meet or exceed OSHA standards.
- Oversee full project closeout including punch walks, final payments, and delivery of closeout documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Strong estimating skills for commercial projects.
- Experience managing private, state, and federal construction projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and construction management platforms (Procore or BuilderTrend preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
