Hostess

The Galt House Hotel is currently hiring Host/ Hostess for our new restaurant, Swizzle . In addition, we are looking for a Host/Hostess for, Walker's Exchange Restaurant , located in the old Fountain Room Space adjacent to The Belvedere, overlooking the Ohio River, at The Galt House Hotel.

The primary role of the Host/Hostess is ensure the guest has a memorable experience by providing excellent customer service through solid organizational skills and exceptional people skills from the moment the guest arrives through the time of their departure.

Responsibilities

• Assigning and escorting guests to their table.
• Providing menus.
• Making reservations.
• Arranging parties.
• May at times act as the cashier.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 2 years of previous experience as a host/hostess or concierge.
• Guest service and excellent communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have a friendly and engaging personality, with a positive attitude and professional and well-groomed appearance.
