Overview

Crowne Plaza North Augusta is seeking a Room Attendant, where your attention to detail and dedication will create a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every space meets our high standards of comfort and hygiene. Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
• Perform window cleaning and floor care to maintain clarity and safety in all areas.
• Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, and chemical sprayers.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling cleaning chemicals and adhering to infection control protocols.
• Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities in public spaces, ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility while practicing proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting or moving supplies.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a focus on commercial or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and infection control procedures.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Familiarity with chemical handling protocols to ensure safety during cleaning processes.
• Excellent customer service skills to address guest needs politely and professionally.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and standing for extended periods.
• Experience with pressure washing or specialized cleaning tasks is a plus for maintaining exterior areas or large surfaces.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
