Lobby Attendant

Job Summary

Crowne Plaza North Augusta is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Houseperson/Public Area Attendant to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of our hotel.

This role is responsible for supporting the Housekeeping department by maintaining public areas, completing deep-cleaning projects, assisting with floor and carpet care, restocking supplies, and helping ensure the hotel remains clean, safe, and welcoming for guests.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently and as part of a team, and understands the importance of maintaining high hospitality and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and back-of-house spaces
• Dust, vacuum, polish furniture and fixtures, and remove trash/debris
• Shampoo carpets and assist with stripping, sealing, and waxing floors
• Move furniture and assist with deep-cleaning projects as needed
• Stock housekeeping carts, closets, and supply areas
• Put away deliveries and maintain organized storage areas
• Turn in lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures
• Report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to management
• Assist Room Attendants and Housekeeping leadership as needed
• Follow Crowne Plaza North Augusta, IHG, and StepStone Hospitality policies and safety procedures

Experience

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift
