Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for leading the work of others and participates in work related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for leading the work of others and participates in work related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
What a typical day looks like:
- Coordinates the activities of subordinates
- Ensures accurate, up-to-date records of inventory in stockroom and daily operations; completes necessary forms or paperwork for documentation
- Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify; fills out appropriate forms or documents
- Fills orders and issues materials and supplies per requests; documents transactions, prepares requisitions and computes costs; keeps records of storeroom inventory
- Update the status of the materials and ETAs in the ERP system to provide visibility to downstream processes
- Tracks material shortages and maintain a complete material shortage report along with resolution status on those items
- Interfaces and coordinates with various department to resolve material and capacity constraints
- Notify appropriate internal teams (project managers, production managers, etc.) of any issues and material shortages that could potentially affect production
- Manage the log for material borrows between projects and get appropriate visibility
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 years’ experience in planning, production, inventory, or expediting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an MRP/ERP System
- Periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk using a computer
- Must be able to lift to 35 pounds at a time.
- Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
