Schedule Information

• Flexible night and overnight shifts
• Rotating weekends required

Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements

• Current LPN license valid in Kentucky
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred
• BLS certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of patient-care procedures and medication administration
• Ability to monitor patients and recognize changes in condition
• Accurate clinical-documentation and recordkeeping skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable attendance and flexibility to work rotating weekends
• Compassionate and professional approach to patient care

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established care plans.
• Monitor patients’ health, vital signs, comfort, and changes in condition.
• Promptly report patient concerns or changes to the appropriate clinical staff.
• Assist with patient assessments and daily care needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Communicate patient updates to members of the healthcare team.
• Support daily unit operations and provide direction to support staff when appropriate.
• Follow all facility policies, healthcare regulations, infection-control practices, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients and staff.
• Perform additional nursing duties within the LPN’s scope of practice.
