Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and maintaining the bar area’s cleanliness and organization
- Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining a tidy dining environment
- Handle manual lifting of heavy trays or boxes of supplies using safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed to ensure timely service
- Maintain excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their needs
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing when required
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially roles involving food running or serving
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience with banquet service or hospitality settings adds value to your application
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and engaging with guests effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including carrying trays or supplies over extended periods
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order management
